I think we can all agree, mosquitoes and bugs are a nuisance, especially if they manage to find a way inside the house.
Well, with kids coming in and out, those pesky bugs are bound to get in while that door is open. There are ways to stop them of course; you can get one of those big screen doors that you have to mount just right, and has all kinds of screws and hardware that you have to use, OR you can use this great magnetic screen door, brought to us by the folks over at iGotTech.
This screen door is so easy to install. The "door" itself has the loop side of the velcro, already pre-applied. You simply add the hook side (which is supplied), then fit it to the door you want to use it on. It also comes with support nails, if you feel like you need the extra support.
This particular model fits doors 34"x82" or smaller, so it fit my back door perfectly. As you can see, it was just big enough to create a good seal all the way around my door. Since this is the door that we use the most, it was important that we have some kind of barrier in place for all those nasty Texas bugs!
You can see how strong the magnets are, as there are no gaps in the opening at all. This has been great, because as we all know, sometimes kids forget to close the door...no problem with this one, because it does all the work for you! This isn't just a great door for kids though, it is just as easy for pets to use as well, so if you have dogs, don't worry, they will still be able to let themselves in!
With the cooler months coming, this magnetic screen door will allow you to open your doors and get that fresh autumn air in, but keep the bugs out. I am definitely looking forward to that! If you want to see the product in use, you can watch the YouTube video HERE
