Have you ever been shopping and loved your experience? Do you have a favorite product that you absolutely love, and can't do without? Do you have an associate that you go to every time you shop, because you love the way they treat you? Did you notice the common word in each of those questions? LOVE...we use it to describe the things and experiences we have everyday.
On the flip side, companies rarely use that word when describing their relationships with their customers. Shouldn't a company love their customers, after all their customers are the ones that determine whether or not they are a successful company.
This book Kama Sense Marketing, by Jacob Levy, discusses the relationship between customers and company's, and breaks down tips on how as a company, you can have a better (and more profitable) relationship with your customers.
Before I had kids, I worked retail selling Perfume. As part of my job, I had a quota that I had to fill each month. The key to making those sales, and hitting that quota, was to develop a "love affair" with the customers. I had my regulars that preferred to do business with me, because I knew what they liked, and what they didn't like.
It can be just as easy for a company to develop that same type of relationship with their customers...so, if you own a company, or even work for a company, you need to read this book and use the tips that Jacob breaks down for you. I promise, you wont be disappointed. Make you customers LOVE you, by LOVING them!
