It has happened again...I have been given a book to review, that drew me in from the very first page. Not a Word about Love, by Hana Goldberg, is one of those books that starts out strong, and stays that way!
Disclaimer* This book speaks of abortion, affairs, and is sexually oriented.
In this book we meet Maya, a woman that is at a crossroads in her life. She is struggling with her career as a screenwriter, she is having a hard time with her marriage, and in her life. She is reminded of her mother frequently, who passed away, and is having a hard time dealing with life being dull and unexciting.
At the suggestion of her husband, Uri, she takes a solo trip to try and reconnect and discover what it is she wants in her life. On the plane she becomes aroused and infatuated by the man in the seat next to her. Several times throughout her trip, they meet, and she can't believe the overwhelming power of attraction she has to this man.
Over the course of her trip, she learns about herself, and in the end, starts the return trip home with a renewed sense of self. Planning ahead for all that she plans to do with her family.
It was a very well written book, and steamy where it needed to be. Hana Goldberg is a great author, and I look forward to reading more from her. If you need a new book (of course you do!), you can get Not a Word About Love on Amazon for $3.99 (Kindle) or $11.83 (Paperback).
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
