Snakes...they are everywhere, and make some people squeamish, while others have them as pets. How much do we really know about snakes, though? Just open the book Snakes, by Dan Jackson, and you will learn all about them!
#SnakeBook
This book is filled with lots of great pictures, that show the different types of snakes. My son really enjoyed looking at the pictures, and even spent quite a bit of time, drawing and coloring snakes, after we read the book.
In addition, there are tons of great facts, and warnings about snakes. I learned quite a bit about snakes!
My only issues with this book, are the vast amount of grammatical errors. That is unlike the other books that I have read from Dan, and it was enough that I would rather read the book to my kids (and fill in the holes), than let my son read it himself, and get confused. He is just learning to read, so I think that trying to read this himself, with the errors, would have made it harder on him.
A child that is older, and that can fill in the blanks, might have an easier time reading it. It is a great book, errors aside, and it is filled with lots of really excellent information and pictures, so I recommend the book, especially to anyone that thinks snakes are cool.
You can get a copy of SNAKES on Amazon for $2.99 (Kindle).
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
