Four Mothers Ebook Review

Hi everyone! I am back with another book review...this week I read Four Mothers, by Shifra Horn. Let me start out by saying, this is a very long book, but well worth the read.

In this book we learn about a curse that has left 5 generations of women, raising their children alone, after the father walks out within days of the birth.

The story begins with the main character, Amal, discussing her own birth. She describes how her mother is disgusted to learn that she is a girl, and goes on to say that her mother still hasn't gotten over what she describes as a "humiliating experience" of giving birth to her.

Amal describes how her entire story is based on the fact that on her birth certificate, under father, it says...Unknown. No one ever wants to talk about her father, and any attempt to question her mother and grandmothers, is met by silence.

It is only after her Great -Grandmother, Sara, passes away that she starts to learn about her family, and the curse that id finally broke, when Amal gives birth to a boy.

This book goes into great detail, even describing exactly how people look and smell. When Amal describes her great-grandmother, you get a clear picture in your head of this extraordinarily beautiful woman.

I highly suggest the read, so if you are ready, you can find Four Mothers on Amazon for $3.99 (Kindle).

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers
