When I first received this book, I was skeptical...how could it be at all possible to do everything this author stated, on only $20 a day?
Once I started reading, I was more than intrigued, and what he was saying made sense. We can do a lot in life, if we let go of the misconception that we have to own things...because in reality, we never really "own" that which we think we do.
Houses, land...things that we will continue to pay on, even after we have paid off the mortgage. So technically, we never own it. So, why not let go of it, and live in something that you can travel in?
That is exactly what the author of this book is suggesting...by releasing our possessions, and opening our minds, we can live happy, healthy, debt free lives, and experience the country.
The author goes into great detail on how this can be done, both with and without children in tow. He includes resources on making money from home, how to pack to live this way, and what we gain by releasing ourselves of materialistic needs.
This truly is an eye opening book, and is an idea that my husband and I have considered. I strongly suggest reading this book, and entertaining the ideas that this author suggests. There is so much to be gained in our lives, if we just take that right steps.
