I am a coffee drinker...I love a good cup of coffee any time of the day, and I like to brew it myself...none of those high dollar calorie packed coffees for me! Usually I brew my cup in a single cup brewer, but recently I was given the chance to try out a French Press from Francois et Mimi.
#FrenchPress
To be honest with you, I had no idea how a French Press even worked, so I YouTube'd it, and couldn't believe how simple it was.
I rinsed the press, and the pitcher with warm water, then added 8 scoops of my favorite coffee brand, poured hot but not boiling water over the top, replaced the press and let it brew for about 4 minutes.
After I let it sit and brew, I slowly pressed the filter to the bottom, then poured myself a nice, rich, cup of coffee.
You would not believe the difference in taste! Such a bold cup of coffee, using the same ground coffee that I use in my single cup brewer, but with such an immense difference, that I wonder why I waited so long to try a French Press!
Plus, cleanup was a breeze...just rinse!
This French Press has and elegant chrome finish, holds 1500ml, or 50oz, is dishwasher safe, has a micro-mesh filter, and works great with coarse-ground coffee or tea leaves.
#StackingMugs
I had my delicious cup of coffee, in one of my fantastic new stacking mugs from the same company.
They are the cutest cups, are multicolored, and fit together in a space saving rack, that looks fabulous on my counter top!
These mugs are lead-free, dishwasher and microwave safe, and made of stoneware ceramic. They hold a nice big cup of coffee, and I love how they nestle together in their rack, and take up very little space.
I only have one complaint about this duo, and that has to do with the filter on the French Press. Make sure that you check the filter closely before brewing a pot, because the micro mesh can bend, which makes having a solid seal impossible. As it is, my first pot did have a few grinds in it, simply because I did not notice the fold in the mesh. I fixed that and re-brewed, gaining a perfect cup of coffee!

I think that this company has some great products, and this duo would be ideal for some dinner parties, during after dinner coffee, or for afternoon tea.
