The Rhythm Tree, an Autism & Special Needs Music DVD and CD

34

As the mother of a child with Autism, I know how hard it can be to get your child to develop some of the most basic skills...social, communication, motor. Just when you think you have a routine figured out for your child, something goes wrong, and they regress. So when I find something that I can use over and over again, to strengthen those skills, I am more than happy. Which is why I love The Rhythm Tree, a CD and DVD designed to help kids with Autism and Special needs, develop those basic skills, all through the power of music!

My husband and I are strong supporters of "Learn through Play" so this program is perfect, because that is EXACTLY what Ryan Judd, the music therapist in this video, is doing...teaching our children social skills, speech/communication, motor, and academic skills, through play!

With Ryan's calm manner, smooth voice, and easy going nature, it is no wonder that this is Dr. Toy Top 10 award-winning product. What I have found in helping my son, is that his sensory needs are met, when he is most active. So interacting with the video, and either myself, his daddy, or most often, his baby sister, fulfills a need that helps him. When those needs are met, he is calmer, more attentive, and focused...it is then, that we get the most done, and when he is most receptive to learning.

I absolutely love this program, and am so glad that I have it. If you have a child with special needs, or know someone that does, please consider getting this DVD/CD, and if you want to, go for the The Rhythm Tree Music Kit, which includes the DVD/CD, a songbook, and three instruments!
