To Whom It May Concern:
The decisions that I make for my life and my family, should not be something you worry yourself about, because you see, those decisions don't involve you.
My decision to marry outside of my race, has nothing to do with you...I made that decision based on the fact that I love this man, not because I was hoping it might bother you.
My decision to have more than one child, has nothing to do with you...My husband and I made that decision because we wanted more than one child, plain and simple.
My decision to breastfeed my children, longer than a year, had nothing to do with you...I made that decision for several reasons, none of which involve your feelings on the matter.
My decision to homeschool my children, has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with the fact that is in the best interest of my children.
My decision to offset going to Law School, and instead opting to be a full time parent, has nothing to do with you...first and foremost, I am a mother, everything else comes second to that, and always will.
I could go on and on and on, but I think you are starting to get the point. I am sure that you have opinions about the decisions I make in my life, for me and my family...the truth is, everyone does, and you have a right to those opinions. The great thing is, they are YOUR opinions, opinions that won't make me change my mind, or make me do things differently. Opinions that really don't hold any weight in anyones world but your own...
You see, in the grand scheme of things, what people do in their own lives, has absolutely no bearing on your life. It is fine to have an opinion about something, but when you try to force that opinion on someone that does things differently, it becomes a problem. This applies to all things in life...religious, political...keep that in mind when forming an opinion, about anything...your opinions belong to only one person, YOU.
So, To Whom It May Concern...it doesn't concern you.
