I love to bake, and create delicious things for my family. There is dedicated cookie days in my family, and even though I am far from the rest of my family right now, I still have those same dedicated cookie days. However, there is one type of cookie, that I have never been able to make, because I was lacking the tools to make them...Spritz Cookies!
These are my dads favorite type of cookie, and I remember my grandmother making them, but I never had a cookie press, so they have always been absent from the cookie plate at my house, but not anymore!!
I am the proud new owner of a fantastic Cookie Press from SveBake! It has a squeeze handle, that clicks with each press, to let you know that a cookie has been made. It has a raised fluted edge, that provides just the right space, between the press and the cookie sheet, to make perfect cookies. It comes with 12 different discs, to create a wide array of cookies, and this cookie press even comes with 6 decorating tips, so you can use it to decorate cakes, cupcakes, and cookies!
Now, this press is made of heavy duty plastic, while most are made of metal, but so far I have not noticed any issues, aside from the type of dough that should be used. Thick dough, and chilled dough, are hard to press through, so steer clear from those, otherwise this is very easy to use.
Everything comes apart, so changing the disc, filling, and cleaning, is easy. I suggest hand washing this press, rather than sticking it in the dishwasher, to avoid any warping! This is a great gift for anyone that loves to bake, or as a housewarming gift!
