I think one of the best things about moving into a new house, aside from having more space, and a change of pace, is getting to decorate your new home! My husband and I, recently moved our family into a house, in a beautiful neighborhood, and while my husband has been tackling the landscaping and curb appeal, I have set out on an adventure called, Interior Decorating!
Our house is much bigger than the place we just moved from, so there is so much more for me to decorate, but the one area that was a must before all else, was the bathrooms...why? well, because after a long day of working, especially in this crazy Texas heat, the first thing you want to do is take a shower, and wash away the heat of the day.
I was super excited to take on this challenge, because I had some items on hand, that I have been dying to use...they come in the form of giant rainfall shower heads, from Aquagenix and HotelSpa! One square
, and one round
, and both adaptable to an arched extension shower arm
, that places the water flow near the middle of the tub area, rather than having you pinned to the wall...Nice, right?!
One of the great things about both of these shower heads, is that they are huge! 8" round, and 9" square...I can't stand a shower head that you have to shimmy under, just to get all wet!
Changing out a shower head, is one of the easiest things to do...they simply unscrew, add some teflon tape (supplied with purchase), then screw the new shower head on...easy peasy! Even with a 6 month pregnant big belly, I was able to do this by myself!
Ultimately, I decided to go with the square head, and I could not be more pleased! I love how it looks, and my shower experience is amazing now! The flow of the water is perfect, and it adds a touch of class to our master bathroom.
It's amazing how something as simple as changing out a shower head, can transform the look of your bathroom...add in a nice shower curtain, some cool looking shower rings, new towels and rugs, and you are good to go!
If you like this look, and are in the mood for a change, you can find both the Aquagenix 9" Square Shower Head
, and the Aquagenix Arched Arm Extender
, on Amazon! Have fun redecorating, and come back to see me, I have lots more projects going on in this house, and I can't wait to share them all with you!
