The first person to ever introduce me to Udderly Smooth, was my mom. After years of battling extremely dry skin, this was the only body cream that would actually moisturize my skin. At first I had my doubts as to whether it would take care of the dry itchy skin that no other lotion, body cream, or body butter, could eliminate...after all, it felt very thin to me, and seemed to dissipate entirely too quickly. Boy was I WRONG!
This stuff is amazing, and whats even better, is that I don't have to try and hunt it down, because I can find it in the first aid section of my local Walmart! Honestly, I had no idea, that they had anything other than their original formula body cream...but there is so much more, and thanks to Udderly smooth, I was able to put them to the test, and create some awesome DIY beauty masks and scrubs!
The first one is a Pink Himalyan Salt Foot Scrub:
2 TBS Udderly Smooth Foot Cream
2 TBS Pink Himalayan Salt
Mix well, and use in the tub to scrub your feet! Your feet will love you!
These next three are various face masks...
Mud Mask:
2 TBS Udderly Smooth Body Cream
2 TSP of your favorite mud powder...I used a Morraccon Ghassoul Clay powder.
Mix well, apply to face, and let it go to work for 15-20 minutes. This is a moist mask, so don't expect it to dry completely, but if it does that's okay. After letting it go to work, simply rinse with a warm water, and pat dry. You will see how moisturized your face feels...that's the Udderly Smooth!
Seaweed Mask:
4 TBS Udderly Smooth Body Cream
2 TBS of your favorite Seaweed Powder
Mix well, this is a thicker mask, so apply with your fingers, or a face spatula. Let mask sit for 5-10 minutes, again, this mask may not dry completely but that's okay...if it does, that's okay too!
Rinse with warm water, and apply a fresh coat of Udderly Smooth to your face, you won't believe the difference!
This last mask is one that I included because it is the season, and you should have plenty on hand...thats right, PUMPKIN!
Pumpkin Mask:
1/4 Cup Udderly Smooth Body Cream
1/4- 1/2 Cup fresh Pumpkin pulp
Blend until smooth, I used my Ninja Master Prep, and it worked perfectly. This one will have a nice orange color to it!
Apply to your face and sit back and relax for 10 -15 minutes, this particular mask will not dry at all...this is more of a hydrating mask. Rinse with warm water, and pat dry before applying your favorite moisturizer...might I suggest Udderly Smooth?
*Make sure to store this one in the fridge, as you are using fresh pumpkin!*
Now, don't forget, you can always use the body cream or foot cream as just that, but it is always fun to pamper yourself! So give these DIY beauty treatments and try, and tell me what you think!
